The History of "Swipe Right For Love"

Posted on June 25, 2024February 7, 2026 by Cyan

“Swipe Right For Love” was my first and only attempt at writing to market in the Sapphic romance world. It’s a romantic comedy about perils of dating in a digital world at middle age. In the planning stages of this book, it was scheduled to be a co-write between MJ Maguire and myself. It came…

How about a new book… again?

Posted on June 14, 2024February 7, 2026 by Cyan

It’s finally available… THE PEACOCK SONG, book four of the girl/Mistress series. I’ve had a rough start to 2024 but it seems like the writing world is coming back together. At the beginning of the year, I was slated to have books released every other month – much like last year. The first book released…

The History of “Funeral of a Good Girl”

Posted on June 7, 2024February 7, 2026 by Cyan

And so there series begins…. In 2022, I officially decided that I would tackle the daunting task of dissecting a 200K word novel and breaking into a series. The first part of that original novel, girl/Mistress was Trixi and Megan’s back story. I didn’t want to start the series there. I needed to go back…

The History of “The Queen and I”

Posted on June 7, 2024February 7, 2026 by Cyan

My first attempt at writing fantasy, which blended with reality. The Queen And I is a short story written back in the 2008 or 2009 that was a fan fiction for the Walt Disney movie Enchanted. I never meant for this story to ever hit publication when I wrote it. In 2022 when I was…

The History of “Cause & Effect”

Posted on June 7, 2024February 7, 2026 by Cyan

The book Cause & Effect was always meant to be a stand-alone story, which means you don’t need to read anything else and the story is complete. It was based off two movies: “28 Days” with Sandra Bullock and “Girl Interrupted” with Angelina Jolie. The original title of the book was Girl Interruptous when it…

The History of “Open Your Eyes”

Posted on June 7, 2024February 7, 2026 by Cyan

Next up in the history books is a novella that I released when I was first starting out in the Sapphic fiction. The intention for the book was to be released as a “reader magnet,” which is a short story that is given away in exchange for an email address to sign up for my…

Where it all began…

Posted on June 7, 2024February 7, 2026 by Cyan

1987 – Yes, that is when I started writing as a hobby. I was sixteen years old (yes, I am that old), and I had just seen the move, JAWS The Revenge. At my desk, I had advertisements, newspaper clippings, everything was Jaws, Jaws, Jaws… I was working at a video store at the time…

The history of girl/Mistress

Posted on June 7, 2024February 7, 2026 by Cyan

Since I lost a lot of the my original blog files during the fiasco of moving from wordpress to substack back to wordpress, I thought I start a new series of blog posts on the history of the books. Most of the stories behind them can be found in the books themselves, but that doesn’t…

The day is finally here!!! Mastering The Art of Female Cookery is finally here… Thank you to everyone who stuck with the creation and the long awaited release of probably one of my favorite stories to date. New Book Alert: Feed The Young

Posted on May 12, 2024February 7, 2026 by Cyan

I don’t participate in a lot of anthologies, mostly because I don’t have time and I find it difficult to pop out a story in the time allotted for an anthology. But here is one… Feed The Young is out today. The anthology was a horrific take on Mother’s Day with tales that revolve around…
