Shifters or no shifters, that is the question.

Let’s talk about the elephant in the room… Well, it’s not really an elephant, more like a Octopus.
This past week, I’ve been introducing my friend to the world of lesbian fiction. She was already introduced, having read 50+ Sapphic books for the year by the end of March. She does nothing but work and read. While she was in Denver, I introduced her to authors such as Adrian J. Smith and Neen Cohen (two friends and writing companions of mine). She devoured their cowrite “Deep Sounding Chaos” in one night. *Shameless plug for my friends.
Last night we were talking and she said “mermaid sex was weird” to me with regards to the series above. That’s when I told her I have a secret project which will include Octopus sex. She laughed.
So did I. Here’s why… this exists—or at least the cover art by Ruth Anna Evans does. I bought it… Yup, there is something in the works. Its been in the works for a while now and I am starting to think that “shifters” are passé or no longer as popular as they once were.
POLL TIME
Anyway, tell me your opinions on the shifter theme…
Meanwhile, I am about 2 days away from being over my 9-5 work madness and I hope to be writing again soon. I really do want to finish what I have started so I can move on to new projects. I hate having so many unfinished stories in the vault.
