Denver to Las Vegas to Denver… and back to Las Vegas

My summer has been… well… unstable.

I finally had gotten a routine down, living in Denver, when my stepfather passed away at the end of July. I jumped on a plane and hightailed it Las Vegas where I had to settle into a new routine with work, play, and organizing my dad’s new life as a widower.

I had my wife bring me everything I needed to move to Vegas, long term… and then, well, my dad’s cousin decided she’d move in with him. That changed my plans to be in Vegas for almost a year.

But good for me. I could go home. I’m currently back in Denver for two weeks then I will return to Vegas for 3 weeks, just to turn around and come back to Denver. This time for good.

Yeah, I will have a shit load of stuff to bring back… as I was planning on a year long hiatus. Now by November 1st, I will be home.

Its been a whirlwind, for sure, but it did give me a chance to start the audio portions of my WIPs and a new TikTok account.

Sales at Amazon have significantly died… and I am considering bringing everything out of KU again as I am getting no reads. This will allow me to bring more work to Substack.

On the audiobook front… as I have been listening to Megan Cook read “Funeral of A Good Girl,” I have realized this book seriously needs to be rewritten. There are a lot of mistakes that the editor did not catch, and the prose is weak. I’ve learned a lot since 2022 and feel that FOAGG could use a little love, which could and should restart the “extended edition” for the girl/Mistress series.

On “Thorns of Yesterday,” I have written up to chapter 8 but only have posted to chapter 4 because I want the audio versions to go up with the chapters. Due to traveling and have a friend visiting me in Denver, I’m a tad behind in posting.

Soon, my friends… soon!

Don’t forget, you can buy some of my eBooks direct from my personal storefront.

Thanks for reading.
