2024 has been a little quiet

2024 has been an interesting year, for sure.

In January, I released “Love In The Shadows” which was written with GA Rea. It was my first erotic thriller, which I loved writing. Sadly, we have not gotten back to the series. Most likely, all prequels and sequels will be written by my co-author as I will probably not be moving on with the series. It doesn’t mean the series will die, just taking a break.

It also has been a year of short stories. I released quite of few in various anthologies, as well as some on their own. “Rock. Paper. Scissors.” was a fun horror take on Battle Royale meets Orange Is The New Black.

I wrote my first middle grade short story, “The Goose Girl Returns” which was released in the anthology, “Scared To Death.

With Undertaker Books, I released a special edition hardcover version of “The Taste of Women” and “Dying To Meat You”. Also, I released third cannibal book, “Mastering The Art of Female Cookery” which is available on Amazon.

While I didn’t think I was any good at written short stories, I wrote a silly animal horror of killer felines in the anthology, “Feed The Young” which is available on Amazon. Proceeds go to The Humane Society.

While the beginning of the year was all about horror, I did manage to release the fourth book in the girl/Mistress series. “The Peacock Song” was released in June and was the last solo book I released this year. I had hoped to get more written but with so many other projects happening, I didn’t get to any more.

My short story “The Heartbeat of Madness” was released in the anthology, “We’re Still Here,” where the proceeds are given to The Trevor Project. Another charity project I participated in was “Judicial Homicide.” I wrote a short story called, “Erroneous Charge,” which was my first witchcraft story.

It wasn’t like I wasn’t busy this year with writing—just different. On top of these releases, I took 2024 to open my Substack. This allowed me to focus my efforts on subscriptions. While a lot of people might be against subscriptions, that’s alright. It doesn’t mean that I will not be writing books for people to read. Subscribers will just get a first hand look at the processes.

Since starting my Substack, I have been working on the expanded version of the girl/Mistress series, starting with “Cause & Effect,” which has been retitled to “Moment of Weakness.” Also, I began releasing my memoir, “FanBoy” on the site for everyone to read. There is no subscription needed to read this ongoing book.

Today (even though it’s the end of the year), I began the second draft of the fifth book in the girl/Mistress series, “Choking On The Truth.” Paid subscribers will have access to this book as it’s being written. Please upgrade and update your settings in order to get access to the book.

***Everyone can read the prologue to this now.

On top of all of this, I moved twice—once to a new apartment, then again to Denver. Plus, I released 14 books with Undertaker Books (not mine, other authors). It has been a year, for sure.

I am looking forward to 2025. There will be less work at Undertaker Books for me to do, plus I will not be moving any time soon. My goal is to write for me.
