I am happy to be a part of this upcoming anthology that will be released by Undertaker Books. There may be a smidgen of truth when I say I might have had a bit of preferential treatment because I am part owner of Undertaker Books to get my story in this group of authors—but I will say that the editor, D.L. Winchester, didn’t take it easy on me when it came to edits and changes that needed to be made.
My story, “Erroneous Charge,” is a short story about a girl who is perceived to be a witch in a small town in the ’60s, and a group of vigilantes take to the streets to burn her at the stake for coherencing someone into lesbianism. LOL.
While the story might be considered horror, it is not graphic—but it is Sapphic. The book is currently available for preorder in paperback and eBook and is due to be released on September 27th. Grab yourself a copy from the Undertaker Books website.
The book features 10 stories, tales of executions—both official and improvised.
UPDATED…

A new chapter of FanBoy was released this morning. Chapter 6 is about the moment in which I realized that I was in the middle of a gender identity crisis. If you’ve been following along, know that this series I am realizing has really required me to take a look at my life and how everything that has happened to me has shaped me into the person I am now. The good. The bad. And the ugly.
If you are new to this series, FanBoy is a weekly blog/fiction-styled memoir of my life. You can start from the beginning here. There is no need to pay for a subscription for this series.
MOVED AND CHANGED
My newest horror book is getting a makeover. I have removed “Good Clean Fun” from the website, and I am revamping the story and publishing it on Kindle Vella. As much as I wanted to explore the queer (male) side of horror, I just wasn’t feeling it. I write Sapphic, and I need to stick with what I know and am good at. Cyan LeBlanc is—and always will be—an author of Sapphic fiction.
That being said, the first three chapters are available now on Amazon’s Kindle Vella for free. Please head over there and give it a read—I’d love to hear your thoughts so far on the story.
I don’t know at what point Amazon will be a cockblock (or, as the lesbians call it, a clam jam) on the story, but I’d love everyone to give it a read.
That’s what I got going on at the time being. Look forward to talking with you next week.
