Happy March… Thanks for sticking around!
I just finished two weeks of training for my new job. This has kept me super busy, so much that I haven’t been writing much. There is just so much for me to absorb that I can’t focus much on words. Now that I am out of training, I am sure that I will grasp my new schedule and get back on the rollercoaster of emotions in my stories.
Here’s where everything is at the moment…
On March 7th, my short story “The Goose Girl Continues” will be released in an anthology based on the “Goosebumps” series. It’s a YA scary tales book. I’ll be sharing a link for that in the next newsletter. I’m so excited for everyone to read it.
I just finished chapter 8 of Baby, my musical erotic nightmare. You can read the prologue if you are not a paid member. This story is sexy, graphic, violent, and well… erotic.
I am posting a historical horror, which takes place in SE Texas in the sixties. There is paranormal elements, as well has extreme social racism which was prevalent at the time this story takes place. Deep Roots Down South has a prologue available to read online.
“The Peacock Song” aka girl/Mistress #4 is completed but I am struggling to get it edited as finances are very, very tight. I know some of you are eager for this to be released, so am I. I can do one of two things… Go through the file again with a read, and release without going through an editor OR I can continue to wait. You decide.
I have so many ideas and stories on the horizon… All it takes is time and money. Let me ask you all this very important question. It’s about “works in progress”. There is a reading app called REAM that I originally thought about using to post my WIPs but then I moved to Substack to save money on email and website. Ream is like Wattpad in a sense, the reading program is incredible because it lets you keep your place. You know exactly where you’ve left off.
Ultimately, it really comes down to you… the reader and my subscribers.
